AMSTERDAM REVIEW OF EUROPEAN AFFAIRS (AREA)

Founded in 2022, the Amsterdam Review of European Affairs (AREA) is a peer-reviewed, student-run academic journal published by European Horizons University of Amsterdam. It is dedicated to showcasing interdisciplinary undergraduate and graduate scholarship on European politics and policy.

 

European Horizons University of Amsterdam is the first European Horizons Chapter to develop and publish its own journal, featuring the work of its members.

The fifth issue of the AREA journal continues to highlight exceptional student work on European and transatlantic affairs.

In this issue of the AREA Journal, you will discover a collection of papers that delve into various critical topics affecting European and transatlantic relations. The journal includes longer research papers, policy papers, and the short OP-EDs, written by our members throughout the academic year and submitted externally.

This fifth issue will be published at the end of the second academic year (2025-2026), stay tuned for its publication!
